An awareness program on ‘Gabage
Management was done in Kadolkele,Negambo on the 11th of January 2019. 10 members from the Sri Vimukthi organization
participated for the discussion. Issues related to Garbage Management,
Environmental problems related to garbage Management and how to manage the
issue was discussed. A short video was shown by Laksiri Fernando the Youth
Coordinator and discussion was followed based on the problems identified.
How to produce low cost manure
using garbage and the notorious value of using such manure was discussed.
Subhashini explained the gabage can be managed at our own gardens and the if
the members needs the technical know-how about this subject she can invite
someone to share the knowledge on the same.
